Having a baby is SO sweet! But having all your hair start falling out in SO many chunks a few months later is NO fun at all! I’ve been through this a couple times, and these are my favorite postpartum hair recovery tips, tricks, and products!
Wet Brush: Brush your hair before you get in the shower when your hair is dry, then when you put your conditioner in, brush it again!
Strong Grip Hair Rings: I think these are just a great product to have because they minimize tears in your hair!
Revlon Hot Air Brush: This is one of my favorite styling tools, and I didn’t know how much I needed it until my hair started shedding again–I would rather have it stay on the brush so I can clean it off later, verses having it fly all over my bathroom!
Plumping Wash & Rinse & Thick Again Treatment: This is my favorite brand of thickening hair products. I used them after Brooks was born and they are amazing. I also really enjoy the smell of almost every Kevin Murphy product–they have more of a musk smell to them, rather than a floral, which is a nice change of pace every so often!
It’s a 10 Leave in Conditioner: This goes in after I’m done combing and will sit to help condition the hair as it dries!
Nourishing Anti-Breakage Serum: I use this after I shower and it helps detangle when I comb it out.
Biotin & Collagen Drops: Recommended by a Band of Mamas follower, these can also help minimize the loss of hair during the postpartum period!
SugarBearHair Vitamins are another vitamin specifically for hair growth!
Hopefully some of these products will help you in your hair recovery journey like they have helped me! If you have any other must have products or treatments, add them in the comments for us all!
