Anyone else LOVING this MN summer? It’s been hot mixed in with a few cool windy days here and there. We are enjoying tons and tons of time outside, so we’ve been working hard to create the space to keep it easy to get in and out each day!
Here are some of my backyard must haves for Summer 2020
Backyard Must Haves
Keter Outdoor Storage Bin (if you don’t have one of these… make this a priority this summer! They are SO helpful in keeping toys and other miscellaneous items stored away and off the ground.
Hose Storage Although we have a different one, I love the idea of this specifically because the hose has to go through the hole–it just keeps everything nice and tidy. My favorite!
Cute Welcome Mats! These are SUPER on trend right now. Get a couple and layer them up! It most definitely dresses up your front concrete step.
Garage Storage Racks Ross is ALL about getting everything “off the floor” in the garage, and these metal racks are SO nice for storage! From the smoker to chairs to kids bikes, it holds everything. We have another one in the laundry room right now. It’s got a ton of stuff stored on it–laundry items and baskets, toilet paper, and paper towels, too!
Shepard Hooks The thing I probably miss most about our old house was all of my plants. I LOVE weeding and tending to all of my shrubbery. Hopefully the new owners enjoyed June at the house–it’s when everything is in full bloom and SO gorgeous. Furthermore, we have no plants here at the new house. So a few of these hooks and some porch plants will have to do for this year!
Babyganics Sunscreen I am lathering the kids up everyday. This stuff goes on easily and is NOT sticky. It’s our Murray fam go-to sunscreen.
Sun Umbrella I suppose that’s one bonus to having babies back to back to back… my skin has gotten a reset from the sun! We’re always in the shade. Thankfully we have a lot of trees at a certain time of the day, but when it’s not shady, we have to sit in the garage. This is on my wish list on Prime right now!
Patio Chairs NEED, Need these. We are looking for the perfect chair for our front step! It’s not a huge space, but definitely big enough for two chairs to soak up the sweet smell of freshly trimmed grass each week.
YETI Tumbler. Because, water! And maybe other things if my terrible twos child keeps it up 😉
Although we have a ton of stuff to do here to help us get situated, this list is a great start! Did I miss something we should have? Post in the comments today if you think of any other must have items!
XO,
Lindsay
