Father’s Day 2019: A Gift Guide for Dad

Dad: Our Number One Guy

I don’t know about you out there in social media land, but my husband is hard to buy for. He’s the guy who has what he wants and will buy whatever it is he needs when the moment strikes him. It drives me nuts. He also won’t let me keep a surprise and actually gets mad if he doesn’t know ahead of time what his gift is. I kid you all not, that for the last holidays, birthdays, celebrations, etc., all he asks for is “Fishing Stuff” and… how boring to buy the same thing all the time!

So, in the name of buying something new this year, I polled several of the men in my life to gather some ideas for the Dads this year that include [some] fishing stuff, some “manly” stuff, and some cool stuff. These are in no particular order, but grouped according to those types.

Fishing & Hunting Gift Ideas

HUK Fishing Shirts are a staple in our home. Lightweight, breathable, and of course, popular!

Speaking of HUK, my husband is obsessed with these shorts HUK Next Level Short Ross sporting his HUK shorts

Abu Garcia Fishing Rod & Reel Combo (for the beginner!) Ross typically buys his own fishing stuff, but I know for a fact that this name is a big dog in terms of fishing. So buy a reel of this brand, or a pole, or the combo and you’ve got yourself a nice catch! 🙂

Cabela’s Binoculars

You could even try out a local fishing guide trip for him, too. If you live in the cities, try out these guys: Lake Minnetonka Guides

YETI Hopper Flip Coolers are amazing for the boat–they keep their cool so well in the hot summer fishing sun!

Manly Gift Ideas

Makita Chop Saw is just a great saw to have around because it’s multifunctional. One of Ross’ must have in 2019 items!

Masterbuilt Smoker is a fun idea for Dad to try something new or Master something he already knows a little about! My favorite so far has been Ross’ chicken wings and Beer can chicken!

Makita Bag and Driver SetMakita Impact Driver is Ross’ go to for DIY Projects around the house. He sells his to his friends all the time!

Cordless Ryobi Leaf Blower (+ Battery)

Weber Grill–I mean, is there anything sexier than Dad at the grill? Nope!

Cool Gift Ideas

Ring Doorbell

Treehut Watches are so cool and you can get a special engraving in them. I had this done for Ross on his first Father’s Day and it wasBose portable speaker in black so special!

Bombas Socks are worth the money. Dad will never go back to another white cotton ankle sock.

Blenders Eyewear are fashionable, affordable, and sleek! There are tons of styles to choose from, and I love mine.

BOSE Soundlink Portable Speaker goes with Dad on whatever trip he’s on. Tough, loud, and great battery life!

Hopefully you were able to generate at least a couple ideas for Dad for Father’s Day this year. Feel free to share out in the comments any ideas you have as well! I made this list last year for Moms & Dads for Christmas, so if you can’t find any here, be sure to check this list HERE

Linds
